It is a superficial, light massage aimed on alleviating muscle soreness, improving blood and lymphatic circulation. DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that addresses the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the grain of the muscles, the tendons, connecting tissue (known as the fascia) and the muscles themselves will begin to loosen up as the toxins are once more released and blood flow and oxygen can begin to circulate. Sessions can be 30mins, 1 hour or 90mins long. Longer session allow for better results as more work can be done and more relaxation help speed up the healing process.
